Can others edit my Photos

I don't have a DSLR right now, so I decided to take 3 pics with my little fella at -2, 0, +2 and with tone mapping came up with this.

Any good for a compact SD? Also, the editing was fast and not for any reason. Just had some fun.

Hmm. I like the concept. But the reflection on the guitar from what looks like the ceiling light is really distracting.

I like where you are going with it! I see a lamp in the reflection on the guitar - this could be like one of those find the items within the picture thing!

I really liked the way it came out. The knights armor was distracting from the guitar imo. I could see how the lamp reflection could be as well.

I love the warmth of the guitar, but I think your range may have been too great on the bracketing. The whites glow a little and have no detail. There is a bit of a halo around the knight and top edge of the guitar which probably isn't intentional. That can be removed in PS with a new layer set to darken blend mode and paint with a colour that comes from near by. Make sure the brush is set to at a lower opacity so you can blend it into the scene (unlike I did in the edit).

As a tweak, I reduced the exposure by .25, adjusted the mid-tones and blacks up and tried to reduce the whites (to no avail). I adjusted the overall vibrance and saturation down. I also applied a little selective sharpening to the guitar. These are all personal preferences, and may not be your style, but is intended as possibilities:

Yeah, my first one looked just like this one. I like the weird rustic look with the saturated backing, if that makes sense. Fun to play around with for sure. Cant wait for my 60D.

Its a cool pic, but the PP makes the georgeous quilted maple top look kind of like that cheap "Mother of Toilet Seat" pearloid plastic stuff they make pickguards out of.

Maybe a different angle would change that?
