A lot to give detailed feedback on, you're better off posting 2 or 3 favorites at a time.

I like number 8, although the lighting is a bit flat. Cute kid, nice comp.
15 reminds me of horrible 1980's floating head collages. Just say no

In general, watch for limb chopping and busy backgrounds. I suggest reading up on elements of design and basic composition.

yeah i understand there's a lot, just thought i'd show my general skill level.

for number 8, the original colour version was much better. i didn't shoot in raw and didn't really know bout converting to mono at that point, so litterally just desaturated and that was it, hence looking flat. that and i only had 1 flash then.

for 15, i was having a play at low key. its all fun learning, and a lot of frustration too!

I would bin 1, 3-5. I like #2 because of clarity.
The others are nice beside some minor things like feet being distracting in #12
15 looks too pinkish

Cheers! I don't think I'll binning any of them as the two boys are my sons, lol. But yeah I'll keep an eye for the background clutter! Ideally I need to get myself a calibrator thing for my monitor. It's all a learning curve. A very steep one at that. The first pic was took a couple of years ago when I first got my dslr. And the rest is prey much my progression. Just wish I could get more time to play with my camera rather than working everyday! I have noticed I'm starting to look at light differently, looking how things are lit.
