Each image was shot with 3 different exposures....the whole point was not to make it look overdone and HDRlike, which is something that anyone can do, but to capture all of the image detail and depth. Perhaps these were not the best objects to try that on.

In my opinion if it doesn't look HDR, it's a good HDR. Never liked the over-processed, cartoon shots with no highlights at all.

I like the second photo a lot, too bad seems not to be very sharp.
