Laying on my belly at the edge of a pool in complete darkness. Open flash as tangental to the surface as I could get. Pseudo HDR, of course, to keep those internal reflections sharp.

Neat abstract. Well processed, doesn't look like HDR.

The intent was to emphasize the glossy internal reflections and the fluid nature of water. So any trace of grit or grunge would have been the wrong way to go with this one. I just wanted to increase dynamic range a bit. Other than fiddling with contrast in HDR, there was no manipulation. That's what water looks like, under those conditions.
