Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G ED Test Shots

I recently posted in the Film section that I had acquired this lens. In fact, I did buy it mainly to use with film. However, I wanted to put up some test photos, and a busy weekend did not allow me the time to shoot a roll of film. So, I put it on the D80 and headed out to the wilds of my backyard.

I LOVE THIS LENS!

In #4, I deliberately shot right into the setting sun to test the nanocoating's resistance to flare. The result speaks for itself.

Hate to be that irritating guy who always points out the flaws in everything, but at the size you posted these images even the cheapest kit lens would look spectacular.

If you want to show what the lens can do then post 100% crops from the corners of the images.

Sorry. I have no idea how to do that. Photobucket does the reductions. I'll just enjoy the lens and not worry about it.:blushing:
