hey everyone,
new to this forum, HELLO!
I have a question.
I recently upgraded to the Canon T3i (used to have a Rebel XS) mostly for the video functionality.
I play guitar and sing and would like to make videos like the youtube musicans.
Since I'm recording by myself in my room, I have no one to adjust the focus for me when using the Canon T3i. I have sort of have to pre focus on the spot where I will be sitting, and it was frustrating to have to keep on doing this.
I researched and realized that the Nikon D5100 has the Continuous autofocus feature. I realize that it is not the greatest, but it beats constantly having to refocus when I'm recording myself playing guitar in my room.
I got the Canon T3i for a great deal for $569 all in. But right now I'm thinking of either exchanging it for the Nikon D5100 or selling the T3i.
Do you think I should exchange for the Nikon D5100 solely on that factor of CONTINUOUS AUTOFOCUS alone, or is there a work around with the T3i??
Thanks in advance for any advice
