Cynical me says: dud design+ bad timing+slow sales=desperation. On the other hand, Nikon may have cooked a promo gateway drug for future Z system users. Still, tanking US GDP, unemployment and scrapped travel plans didn't seem to sink in with Nikon's Marketing Dept. Drop the cheesy trade-in schtick and just go for a better discount? Your take???
