Greetings from South Carolina all. The name is Jay

I am absolutely an amateur as it pertains to photography. Mostly point and shoots in the past. I currently have an older Olympus 4/3 that I wouldn't mine learning the basics on before buying something else.

I dug out the Olympus this morning and everything was there but the battery and charger. It's around the house somewhere. Looking forward getting it fired up again.

Welcome, Jay. My first DSLRs were Oly 4/3rd. Still capable cameras I'm sure. I sat in my driveway with my E520, its manual and the book by Brian Petersen, "Understanding Exposure" and was on my way. That was a good many years ago.
