So, how do you get that dark effect that are in the first few?

i was shooting mainly at -1/3 to -1 EC due to the brightness of the day. all have had some degree of post processing though to either help out the look, or to push it to an "artistic" style. the last one i probably went a little too far, but i really enjoyed the classic 70's/80's saturated fuzzyness when it turned out. i still have no idea what im doing most of the time in post processing, but randomly clicking buttons or dragging sliders has been working thus far to some degree.

I like #4, but I prefer the sign is off to the right a little bit.

yea, i wanted it more to the right too, but the building ended and the way the sky was that day it was blowing out the left side of the picture.
