That is nice. Is that hdr or did the colors just come out that way? How long was the exposure / what settings did you use?

The 1000ISO do show. And you could not QUITE hold steady the 1/6 seconds of exposure. But I agree: that sky must have been breathtaking when you saw it in person.

That sky is breathtaking. Lafoto is right though. Which is exactly why my tripod stays in my car at all times.

Completely agree. Love the colors but with out the tower poking up out of the horizon it would, in fact, be just another sunrise. All be it one with great colors.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw this scene. I wouldn't have even posted the shot if it hadn't been for that little bit of "drama" in the scene.

Looks to me, as if in the camera menue, the saturation has been bumped up.
