Not worth it!

Driving too long makes my back hurt so I got out to stretch and go for a walk. I walked down to the edge of the South Saskatchewan River to get a few shots of this old building. I tried to get a few with an ND filter at 1/10 sec to smooth out the water but I left the tripod in the car so they are all junk. This is what I was left with.

When I got back to the car I found 9 ticks on and in my clothes. When I got home two hours later I found 2 more. Was it worth it?

Is this an Indian reservation? Ouch! ticks...I thought only dogs have them?

No, this is a Metis part of the province. There are farms and river lots here from before this became part of Canada. It is only a few miles from the famous Battle of Batoche.
And ticks don't hurt. They inject pain killers and then proceed to bury their heads in your skin and suck blood. Biggest problem is that they are carries of Lyme disease.

11 tick are not worth, I'd say. Good thing none of them were on your skin.
