For me, It's too soft, overprocessed, and there is some weird ghosting going on in the left corner. I'd try and reprocess, because I really like the light and the composition.

Shot from mainland, dont know what the ghosting is...... I also shot at sunset. Thanks for the comments.

When I first tried HDR I was only taking 3 exposures but found that it wasn't enough range. Try taking more exposures and merging them. I do +/- 3 stops so I end up with 7 different exposures and find they end up looking much better

Or better yet you should meeter the scene and find out the actual number of stops between the highlights and shadows and then shoot accordingly.

I agree with Jake- I would tone down on the processing since it's such a pretty scene. Ghosting is the area where it looks like it could be "burnt." It looks a little purple and has a hue that's weird such as on the left side of the little white house.

I agree. It looks like a painting. Which, if that's what you wanted, is a pretty good thing. I like the color and the composition, but I don't like the ghosting on the rocks at left. The immediate impression is of a very attractive image; on inspection, some flaws appear. For many, it wouldn't be noticed. But for your fellow photographers, they will be.

It's worth another try; I really like the look, although it's not the way I would have done it. I like seeing things the way others see things.
