Just some shots from my stroll around lower Manhattan yesterday, on my way to get some food. C&C always welcome. Shot with my Lumix G3 using the 20mm f1.7(40mm equiv) and the 45mm f1.8(90mm equiv). Some cropped. All base iso

All RAW-->Lightroom 4.1

1) This seemed to be an outdoor tile shop.

8) Same building, another view. It almost looks inside out if you stare closely(particularly on a B&W conversion)

I like them all except 5 and 2, which don't really do anything for me. 5 just seems like a well taken tourist shot, not something a photographer would take. I don't love the faded processing in 3, but I like the shot otherwise. I'd probably straighten it so the central part of the building was purely vertical. Again, I don't really love the faded, grainy, flat processing in 4, but that's more a style thing.

Thanks for the comments! I appreciate them. I process almost all of my images with a bit of a faded look, so it's understandable =P I've been trying to make it more subtle though, so I'll keep those comments in mind. The grainyness I realize was due to oversharpening in LR though, woops.

I'm iffy about 5 too, was thinking about removing it. It's... cool, but not particularly interesting.

Thanks again!
