nope not my yard., about 3 miles from my house is a little fishing spot, its kind of a little wet land area.. probably my second favorite place to shoot photos, i usually see at least something when i go there, never saw the deer before.. lots of different types of birds there all the time though...

Great shot! Took this a few weeks ago. They swam in the creek for over 30 mins before I lost sight of them. They were in 15 feet of water at times.

i never knew the could swim.. i see a dear running around at night in the neighborhood a few times a year. i dont usually see them another place though, i saw the deer back in the bushes and was thinking it would be nice if i could get a photo of them, next thing i know they jumped in the water and started crossing. i was thinking maybe i would have some rare photos since i did not think that was something they usually did. so there not rare photos but it was still really cool to see them and to see them swim..

Well it's not a common sight. And to be there to get quality photos is rare enough!
