When I was but a lad in the mid sixties, there was a surfer who rode for my brother's surfboard company (Plastic Fantastic) named David Nuuhiwa. A couple of days ago while out scoping some Red-Breasted Mergansers, I took a quick peek to see if there was any surf. It was minimal, but this guy, Okato's surfing style reminded me so much of the Nuuhiwa from yore, I had to make a shot, foggy conditions or not.
