The cross of the fence hitting him right in the middle of the face is really distracting. Perhaps if you put his face within the diamond the shot would be better. I am certainly not saying to get rid of the fence entirely though.

the symmetry of his right arm with the fence is certainly nice. if you'd try what jvgig said the fence would probably block his arm (not saying it's not a good idea worth a try).
so i'm gonna have to go with a "i like it very much"

I really like your point of view, I don't think that everything has to be so straight-forward, great shot!

I'm not sure if the fence adds to the shot. It's definetely different, I just don't know if I'd prefer it over a similar image without it.
