Old Capitol - Blue Hour

This is the original state capitol building of Iowa, located in Iowa City. I was walking back to my car when I noticed the dome, normally a shiny gold leaf, was appearing blue to the naked eye. These were taken just after sunset. Pretty minimal retouching to all of them. You like? I know the tree is bothersome in the darker photo, does the tigther crop work for people? D7000 with 35mm. First is 1/25 at 640 ISO F2.5, next are 1/125 f1.8 800 ISO. The extra sharpness from the faster shutter speed (all handheld) is readily apparent.
