Old Coolpix animal pics

You could say these are my first attempts at "shooting the wild" although these were in captivity. These were taken way back in August last year! This was at the Highland Wildlife park up near Inverness. They were shot on a Nikon Coolpix camera which had something like 24x zoom. Definitely gonna need to head back up there sometime soon with the new gear!

I have a coolpix P7100. It loves a tripod and a wireless shutter release. It seems to me, my Canon SX60HS is the same way. If you stabilize these point & shoots, the image quality can be excellent. I would bring it back with you and use the tripod and remote, you may be surprised.

I have a Nikon D3300 now, I forgot about these images I took back in August last year, which was essentially the "beginning" for me and wildlife photography I will definitely go back at some point!

Thanks, the polar bears must be used to having their picture taken as this one came from the pool it was in right up to the fence and just sat down infront of me. I definitely want to go back and get a better capture of them!

Thanks, yeah it was actually my g.f, but I used to borrow it, now I have my own camera to play around with
