Old Egypt project

Hey everyone,these photos were part of a project about places in old egypt that no one knows . I appreciate your comments on anything you think i should work on ( Exposure,composition,focus....etc)
P.S : these were shot using Nikon d5000,55 mm 1.8 lens.

They're abstract. The shallow DOF makes little sense for these, they would have been better at f/8 or up. Compositonally you could take greater risks, too. I like the colors.

Hmm, possibly nobody thinks you need to work on anything.

I do find them kinda snapshotty ... except for #4, which contrasts the two door handles.
Try to get more images like that, ones that have multiple elements that compliment/contrast eachother.

You know what you are right,just because i'm using a f/1.8 lens doesnt mean i have to shoot at this apreture. Now that you said it i think using a smaller apreture(larger f stop number) would have made these photos look better. Thanks alot.:thumbup:

I took this a year ago ,when i look at it now i dont like the tree thats coming out at the back of her head i also think that if she was in focus rather than the guy in the background it would make a better photo,dont you think?

Hmm, I actually like it ... somehow the background makes her look "angelic" ... and her being OOF works.
