I think the only thing this photo has going for it is the use of B&W. The small structures on the right make it busy, especially with the reflection.

I like this picture. It's an interesting view of a "secret" corner on a farm. Place for boys to hide.
It is just me ? Or it is not total b&w conversion ?

not to "me too" it, but this was essentially my reaction.

The reflection was nice, but the scene is both busy and not terribly appealing visually.

I wanted to keep just a hint of the autumnal colours.

It works here well, adds warmth to the picture, looks like printed on Berger VCM paper.
