You have to resize them before you upload them to the photo hosting site. What image software to you have? Just about any software should give you the option to resize the image.

When I first looked at your photo, I didn't even notice that it went way off of the screen. I think all that extra stuff to the right of the man is hurting the photo rather than helping. The most interesting part is the man looking at that shoe. The rest can/should be cropped out. IMHO
