Old Montreal

Taken about 30 mins after a nasty down pour in Old Montreal on Wednesday.

Yes, it is HDR, but this is what I feel HDR should be used for, a tool to help capture specific scenes.

you nailed it! something about the way the HDR works on the clouds almost makes this shot look 3D.

i'm definitely going to be visiting Montreal a lot more often thanks to company travel benefits. i love it there!

That sky looks enormously well now! Wonderful cloud formations all directing towards the old town with the skyline so vivid and sharp. What is that thing about the tents on the right?

LaFoto, that tenty thing is the Cirque du Soleil's big top for their newest show Totem. The Cirque is a Montreal born company and any new world tour they start starts here in Montreal.
