Nice shots, but that's not really an old softball. We used to play with them until the covers came off.

I like the way the lighting brings out the fact that this is animal flesh. The red stamp in the shadow on #2 makes me think of sides of beef with a meat packing stamp on the side.
The stitching takes on a sinister feeling as a result.

That's what I get from it anyway.
