Olympus financial scandal deepens

Seems like the financial scandal Olympus has found itself in is deepening, and the company's stock price has dropped over 50% within the last fortnight...

I use to work from them in late 1990's to early 2000's and I'm not surprised. The management function there slaves drive without proper...let's say exchange for labor on hourly employees. You work there, didn't feel like you were on American soil and I've worked for other Japanese companies before. Sad to say the least..

Wow... Its getting REALLY bad for Olympus. I'm pretty sure that the company in its present state will not exist in a month or so.

Last time I checked, there were was talk that the Tokyo Stock Exchange is going to delist them. Too bad really, their micro 43 effort was really starting to pay off. My gut reaction is hope that Panasonic buys out what's left of the Olympus Pen line. I feel that there is enough synergy between the two m43 product lines that they can be marketed side-by-side.
