It's a well executed picture of a bug. I do slightly like the repetition of shapes, but ultimately, it's a bug picture.

Are bugs any different than cars or people? I would far rather see a good shot of a bug than a bad shot of a person or car any day....Ken, it's a sprinkler end, so you're safe.

I don't much like car pictures either. People, though. I'm a people, so people have some built-in interest for me.

Truly, I don't mean to beat on you for making a picture of a bug. It's just that it falls into a huge class of pictures that leave me cold, pictures I have very little to say about and almost no reaction to. There's no implied narrative to a picture of a bug, no emotional connection, none of the stuff that I like about pictures. I probably should have just held my peace, but I do try to say something when I see your stuff go by. So, I mentioned the repeated shapes, which I still kinda like.

Well, we all have our dislikes. Mine are babies, cute little kids and PG shots...yuck to all of them (though of course, that doesn't include my 5 year old grandson ).
