My interest in macro photography came from keeping stick insects, some species are almost all female.
This species Libethra Strigiventris PSG 334 (PSG = list of stick insects) has so far been 100% female this is the first ever photograph of a male (it was mating with a female)

Yellow dung fly - Scathophaga stercoraria, TQ 40100 68716
on a white currant bush
White currants are great fruit and great for insects
