I have always loved black and white photography and have been playing around with it lately. This is one of my favorites.

No, opinions are good, I appreciate them. I was going for kind of a silhouette but I'm really inexperienced so half the time I'm not even sure what I going for.

This is not quite a silhouette because there is too much detail in the subject, and yet not a really good B&W of the bird because there is not enough detail.

Bummer!

I would try to pull up the shadows in the bird a little bit. I think it would be a cool shot if we could see detail in the feathers like we can on the branches.
