Really nice catch of the family, but the heron pose instantly made me think of the old black and white Dracula films with the cape wrapped around the vampire

As always great shots. Not to go off picture topic but we seem to have no Blue Heron showing up, only in the first week in march have I seen to together and not one since anywhere Odd.

It could be that they have found a more secluded fishing spot. They'll do that here. If the water is high enough they'll remain in the forest where we can't see them.
