Osprey landing in the late evening. Tough lighting angle but I liked the way the light went thru the tail feathers.........

Not only do the backlit tail feathers make this one as splendid as all your bird photos (I no longer expect anything less from you, you know that?!?!? ), but also the all undistracting background, the very good focus, detail, position of wings, his "shout" ... in short: everything!

Thanks....Used my 200-400MM F4, EE,IF, VR lens...focal length was 280mm.
Photo is 80% full frame (got rid of a little dead space!)
