Thanks no they were not at camp we were taking a drive past were we knew there were osprey nesting
the sandhill was just a lucky catch did not see them while we were driving till i was only 7o feet away

I'm jealous that you got a sandhill crane baby. I managed to photograph two adults last year. No babies though. Good job. How was camp?

Thanks Barb i am happy as well camp is good theres two merlins up here the only bad thing is i came here and my dad found a green heron on the ground and yesterday he found a adult least bittern and got within 10 feet i hope it sticks around so i can get some pics of it and maybe you could the next time you come up
