Great shots (and a lot of them!)! The cats (lions and leopard?) are beautiful. The background of the leopard shows a building, tho, which kind of took me out of the wildness of it all. Maybe that could be clones or patched out.

Otherwise, nice shots!

You know, my husband and I tried to figure out what that building was and couldn't come up with anything. It was really cool looking, almost like ancient ruins or something, but it was not part of the zoo, it was wayyyy off in the distance and we couldn't figure out how to get to it to explore lol. I still have no clue what it is.

Thanks for the comments :D

What an enjoyable thread! I especially liked the meerkat and tortoise animal shots, the two bridge shots, the colours of the sea lion cabana pic, and all the ones with your daughter (she's a great, and cooperative, subject).

Ooo, these are really good! All warm and fuzzy too! Nice job!

I think Matt may be on to something... its a secret place that you can only see if you make it past the cats!

Let us know how that tuns out for ya ;)

Thank you! We had a great time. Alex loves the zoo. The Meerkats are my favorite! They are so funny and have huge personalities. The zoo is full of those types of bridges and I could not pass up the shots. And we never miss the sea lion show, it is fun and educational to watch. Alex is a camera hog and she loves being momma's little model :D

great pics! I took a bunch last year there and plan to go this fall again just for a photoshoot day. Our zoo isn't the best, but I enjoy it.
