Here's a few shots I got at Buckhorn Lake, Wilson, NC.
I tried to capture this mood: Late in the day, Working hard to get at least 1 catch before the sun sets.
I had a bit of trouble with the lighting as the sun was setting and we were on the catwalk-like floaty pier. If I had moved to the side away from the direct sunlight i would have fallen in
Any critique is fine, but I'd really like to lnow what you think of more about the processing, and what I could have done better in this difficult lighting situation other than carry a reflector around....
I'd also like some critique on the "waterscape" shot. Does the haze add to the photo? or should I have been using a polarized/uv filter?
I appreciate the comments.
These were shot on shutter priority w/ 28-105 f/2.8-up lens using a Sony a330.
1) - there are some odd artifacts on the top of the image
2) - Father and Son
3) - gotta fix that line!
This shot is my ride, an 05 Scion xB. I was experimenting with 4-6 second exposures @ dusk.
Any comments on these would be good too.
