Panoramic landscape help

So I was lucky enough to catch a double rainbow last night and here is what I ended up with after editing.

What would you do differently?

The final version seems to be too saturated. I know when we shoot a rainbow, we want to get beautiful colors but here, the blue in the sky is to dominant (and it brough noise in the picture).
Try to reduce the saturation just for the blue. It will help to make a nice and smooth contrast between the rainbow and the background. However, don't remove the color; the picture needs to look natural


About the foreground, it's too dark. I think you just have to make a correction about the white balance and increase a little bit the luminosity.

Dunno if it's just me but that image is too small for me to make out.

As a general tip a circular polarising filter can be used to make a rainbow show up better in your shots.

In trying to emphasize the sky, the ground colours are all dark. Maybe apply a grad filter in post to only adjust the sky?

Double rainbow all the way!

Agree that it seems a tad too saturated and that the foreground is too dark. Not sure what software you have, but you could try to create a gradient with the processing to avoid the foreground becoming too dark.

Too much darkening of the foreground. Overall the photo has an over edited feel. Try a softer touch, is this a crop of a larger image?

If you want to darken the foreground a bit try selective burning, but it just feels off that its so dark in your edit. Lots of interesting sense of place in the original file.

For the rainbow try a high pass layer with soft light blend mode and then opacity to taste, start around 50-80% and see. You can mask it in just around the rainbow.

For the saturation, try the vibrance slider instead of the saturation. It will give you a more natural look.

Do you have a RAW file by chance? This really has the ingredients to a great image.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was trying to make the foreground a little dark. I may have overdone it a little I just found some of the things to be distracting. I don't have a raw file because it was shot using my A77 panoramic mode. So only jpeg. I will try some suggestions and post new
