G'day all
Many 'oldies' will remember the sights & sounds of the moon walk by Apollo-11 astronauts (Neil Armstrong+ Buzz Aldrin with captain Michael Collins left behind & missed the moon walks). The Parkes radio telescope in outback NSW brought you those sights and sounds. While the dish and all the electronics have all been upgraded as the years have gone by, Aussies have fond memories of those 1969 TV images + the movie called 'The Dish' made inside the base tower and the actual dish itself
My images are its after-dark sweeps of the sky ... however most were junked as wind-caused tripod vibration during 30- & 60-second exposures left few images successful
1)- sun has set ...

exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/4s x F5,6; ISO-400; lens at 9x zoom / 200mm FFequiv
2)- full dark ...

exif- Panny FZ-2500; 15s x F5,6; ISO-400; lens at 9x zoom / 200mm FFequiv
3)- lit by the full moon overhead

exif- Panny FZ-2500; 15s x F5,6; ISO-400; lens at 9x zoom / 200mm FFequiv
As always, feedback welcome
