His mouth is open, (uncouthed little guy), but it tells a very clear and clean story.

Thanks guys. Yeah, there were other pics of the squirrel but I liked that one best with his mouth open. As far as the background goes I've only done a couple others and they were around that same area with the subject in the shadows on a bright, sunny day. Of course the editing helps fine tune it.
