If I enter, I will do a new scan of it (it's film - Ektar 100) and take more time getting rid of the dust and crap like that.

Oh, entries must be mounted prints - 8x10 or bigger. I'm thinking this would look good on metallic paper...

I'll have to double check, but I think it's a panel of other photographers at work.

Just checked - the judges are a panel of other members of the club (co-workers) who did not enter any photos (there are two categories, and you can submit two photos in each) in that month's contest.

The sizes are smaller than I thought they were - 5x7 minimum, 8x10 recommended, 8x12 maximum. No frames allowed, but it can be matted. Must be bussiness appropriate (winners and runner-ups get displayed for one month at work before being returned).

The only real rules are that it must be taken by you, and no pro's allowed. They define "professional" too, and I'm not one.

The pictures look too good to be scans of prints - I assume that they ask people for digital files for the website after they vote.

I think my chances are good... I have never entered before, but I feel good about this one. I've sort of just been waiting for the right category to come along.
