photo contest?????

I am looking to get some of my photos into some contests 1. Just to see how i do and 2. If i do win any money i can put it towards a new lens and a printer : ).....does any one have any sugestions og what to enter or where to find contests worth entering?

Get involved w/ your local art scene, they will know what is going on.
