i really like the idea of the first one, but i wish he was looking at the camera.

Cute. I love your ideas. The first one is a little dark. At first I didn't even see the umbrella. I also agree that if you were able to get a little more of his face it would make more of a connection. As far as the second one, two things. You may consider cropping. The large portion of road at the bottom really takes away from your cute boy. Also, if you were able to take it from an angle that could capture his expression while jumping, that would really enhance the picture. Good job on these though.

I did a PS of the first one. I have quite a few of the idea, I'll have to get around to posting them. I made them pretty dark on purpose, so maybe I went overboard!
