photo transition display

Hi Folks,

I have a series of photos taken from the exact same location but on different days. I would like to display them on one page but use a slide tool/bar to move or transition between the photos. If the slide bar can display the date of the photo then that would be great.

I'd appreciate any advice on software that may be able to do this for me. Does anyone know if I can do this in adobe? Haven't had much luck finding this out.

I've seen this done in Flash before. Nothing more than two images overlaid with the second image opacity controlled via a slider.
