Shot with a D200, 28-70mm f/2.8 AFS - 1/320 & 1/400 @ f/2.8 ISO 800 center-weighted metering.

The lighting wasn't the greatest, 1/400 was a bit dark but I was able to pull things in through PS CS3.

When shooting boxing, what is the "optimal" shutter speed & metering (matrix, center, spot)?

Definitely some great looking stuff. I love seeing the sweat and slobber spraying everywhere, it adds the perfect touch.

Yeah, the sweat makes for a great action photo. Doesn't happen all that much with MMA as it does with boxing.

It's better in the later rounds when both fighters are are sweaty and have been watered down between rounds.
