Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have Photoshop CS 5 and use ACR to edit my RAW photos. I just bought the new Tamron 150-600 and was wondering if ACR has lens profiles for download? I'm not sure how much distortion the lens has but I notice a lot of vignetting at the higher end of its range.

Adobe no longer supports CS5 with ACR updates, the last version of ACR for CS5 was ACR 6.7. If your lens profiles aren't in that version of ACR then you will need to either get an update for your Photoshop or sign up for the monthly photoshop/lightroom package.

Yep. the same applies to cameras released after Adobe ended support for CS 5, which happened when they released CS 6 (Photoshop 13/ACR 7).

CS 5 (Photoshop 12/ACR 6) is now 3 releases behind the current Photoshop CC 2014 (Photoshop 15/ACR 8).

one of the first things i noticed when i subscribed to Adobe CC was that some of my lenses were in the database that were not there with my CS5 and LR4, and that that the raw files from the 7100 were recognized by photoshop where they weren't by CS5.

I get the newest PS and LR updates and it only costs me one trip to Dunkin Doughnuts every month.

nah, im just kiddin...i still go to DD's.

Thanks, maybe if I was pro I'd make the switch but it's just a hobby. For now I'll make a custom profile.
