My dear friend Kristen and her boyfriend, at Copper Mountain, CO. I CANT GET THE DAMN FLARE OUT, that big purple circle right in the front. Her sister wants to print this picture for them and I've been messing with it for an hour and I can't get it to look right.

How does a gangsta rid his hood of silly flares such as this? Feel free to do the work for me and tell me how you did it, or, if you aren't feeling charitable, tell me what I need to do to make it look rad. Pretty please with sugar, cherries, and strippers on top.

I didn't take this shot, Kristen is holding the camera in her hand. I want the world to be convinced that I wouldn't make such a training camp mistake, having the SUN in the damn shot.

And by the way, tell your friends the rule of thumb is that unless they absolutely know how to setup and light a shot to counter act the effects of the sun, their camera should never be pointing in the direction of it if they want anything remotely usable.
