I talked to adobe today. I question was, could I as a new member, get the 9.95 a month price. The reply was yes, but I will have to wait for a call back on sept 16 th . This when this program kicks in. But you have call them to get on the list. I think this is a great price, any replies appreciated. The number I called was 1800 443 8153

You need to already have a registered commercial copy of Photoshop CS 3, CS 4, CS 5, or CS 6:

I got the 10.00 deal with no pre purchase today. Photoshop cc, plus Lightroom, and a dozen others. Just deed a debit or cewsit card, charges once a month. no student requirement.

Most of those others are trials, web development tools, and/or for use with other CC suite applications. A couple are just previews.
If you want to continue using them after the trials expire, you will have to pay more per month. $19.99 a month for each additional single application, or $49.99 for the entire CC suite.
