Don't you know you're not supposed to put the horizon in the middle of the frame?

Just teasing - it totally works for this shot - it gives the shot symmetry, which is broken (in a good way) by the end of the pier, which gives the image some weight.

I like it, but I wish you had used HDR or tonemapping to bring a touch of detail on this side of the pier.
