Pink pastel Roses

Spent quite some time working these very soft pastel pink Roses that were basically in the shade, producing some very diffused soft light.

Just my two cents:

Wait until the sun is at a better angle, even with the overcast sky, the angle of light will make or break a photo

AgentDrex, thanks for your suggestion. I should have posted that these are the 2nd set from Monday's outing. And Monday we had brilliant blue skies, no clouds, and wind gusts just to make it interesting. Of course the Weatherman did forecast most cloudy conditions in the morning.

I love cloudy days for doing photography. I do a lot of landscapes and so clouds add that little extra into the scene. Overcast days are great for portraits, but that's a rare thing for me to photograph humans.
