Thanks Rick. Focus stacking is a nice idea. I don't mind the depth of field on this though.

I like the gentle lighting and rolling lines, the soft spicily texture ... very nice ... the only thing that distracts me is the black line on the closest ridge ... I wonder if a light from behind the subject, off frame left might turn that into a glow.

I like the shot. I think the border would look much better with 1:1:1:1.5 spacing, with the 1.5 aspect being at the bottom, to give the framed image a visual "base".
