Poodle Puppy

This is Maddy, she is my parent's 3 lb poodle puppy. I'm not sure she counts as a dog. My two boxers certainly don't think so.

I had a hell of a time getting her to stay to get a pic. I ended up holding her butt down with one hand and shooting with the other blind since I was too close to look through the lens and focus.

I may try again when I can get someone else to hold her.

What cute shots! You did a great job getting detail in her dark fur. I like the lighting too. My only nitpick is not being able to see anything of her other eye in the first one, but then again you did a great job for shooting blind!

More like for pet snapshots. If you have a photo of a pet that you actually want genuine photographic critique on there is no problem with it being posted in the general gallery.

That was my take on the gallery rework, anyway.

Right, I like that the people and pets are separate, but not that they are now in the "less serious work. ... your pets, funny images... Not intended for serious critique."

I personally would have put pets and wildlife together, but I don't run the joint... Besides, the post is labeled very clearly, you don't have to look...
