I like the contrast and the texture in the brickwork, and the deep blacks in the doorways, and the horizontal concrete above them. If you look at the sign there's almost a glow around it that I find interesting.

I'd really like to see it with the top of the wooden window-frame thingy, and maybe straight on with less slant.

Yeah, I like the last two. I like seeing through the door into the inside, and also seeing the brickwork inside, and then in the second one, that was the first time I actually noticed the missing bricks at the bottom of the doorway.

Whatever that circular concrete structure in the foreground is, it isn't helping the shots. Also, the tilt in the main image is problematic since it doesn't seem to be as deliberate as you probably intended it to be.

A nice find, though, with lots of potential. The sign above the doorway is a bit strange - what does "police take notice" mean? Did they, or do they have something to hide? Is/was this a way of telling the law to sling its hook?

I have been tilting buildings and shooting things other than head on lately. Not really sure why. I think I was just walking around here and kind of shooting "loose" if you know what I mean and wasn't really into doing straight on shots. I do have some straight on though this is a amazing complex for shooting I go there on occasion.

originally I thought the circuliar concrete structure was the remnants of a landing and staircase. But after thinking about it I now wonder if they had that there to handload trucks eighty years ago.

I know what you mean, you've got to try things out a bit now and then and not always stick to shooting by the book. I just figured a bit more slant here would have been the way to go.

Yes, looks like it could be some sort of ramp or platform.
