Preschoolers perform

Papa (that's me) went to the Christmas program last night to hear Luke and the other four-year-olds "sing."

This is during the song "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".... at that critical point when they sing the word "wish."

BTW... Papa is still amazed with the whole digital thing. I shot this at ASA 1600. It wasn't so long ago the hopes of making a decent color image at that speed were slim.

Anyway... isn't he a cute lil fart?

Were you a little priviledged or how could you get this close to the scene?
Or did ALL parents crowd at the bottom of the scene (and grandparents, for that matter)?

Well... in this situation, I am a bit privileged as my daughter-in-law runs the daycare. But I would have done it anyway. I always have. No one has ever asked me to move. I suppose it's my posture. I just make sure I'm not too intrusive, and folks just figure I'm supposed to be there... like the press or some official photographer.
