Printing question...

I have an archive of pictures that I have shot of events at my church. The parish is closing and I have been documenting events and shooting portraits of the building. I always shoot in a raw mode and then convert to a Tiff for Photoshop.

I have a bunch of people that want various prints of stuff I have done, the building, pictures of events, families, etc. Eveything we have printed for the church has been professional done at a local lab and they are obviously more expensive as compared to Sams / Walmart.

I want to give people the files so they can get prints made themselves but I am not sure how to save out the files so they can take them to Sam's or wherever and get them printed.

I know I have to convert to jpeg but what to do with the DPI settings, can I just leave it at 300 and paste it into a 5 x 7? I asked someone at Sam's what I should do and the helpers are clueless.

Ask the people how big they want their prints, resize the image to those dimensions set at 300PPI. Save the files as JPEGs. PPI has no meaning beyond scaling the resolution as desired. Any walmart will just absorb the file and ask the customer how big they want it printed and it'll set it's on PPI setting then.
